Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) Program
to End December 28, 2013

The EUC program, that provides up to 14 weeks of EUC Tier 1 benefits; up to 14 weeks of EUC Tier 2 benefits; and up to 9 weeks of EUC Tier 3 benefits to eligible individuals who have exhausted their regular unemployment insurance claims will end on December 28, 2013. No further EUC benefits will be paid for any weeks of unemployment that begin after December 28. 2013 even if there is an available balance on the EUC claim. The Department of Workforce Services will continue to monitor for any changes to the EUC program and will notify eligible individuals of any potential changes.
