The Business Retention & Workforce Transition Team operates five Mobile Workforce Centers. Each Mobile Workforce Center (MWC) has full internet connectivity and is equipped with All-In-One (print, copy, and scan) functions and the MWC computers include Jobs Application with Speech (JAWS) software and most are handicapped accessible and may have Smart Boards and DVD/VCR Players..
Mobile Workforce Centers may be transported to supplement local resources as needed. Workers may be provided assistance on drafting resumes and letters of application, effective interviewing skills, productive job search techniques, Arkansas JobLink registration, Occupational Skill Assessments, and the Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) Assessments. Additionally, we utilize the Mobile Workforce Centers (MWC) as a workforce solution tool to assist companies with their hiring and screening activities at their location.
